Unread post by dvhttn »

Hi,

I need a Bendix ABS sensor for the rear of my 405. Anyone know where you can get them apart from peugeot?

Cheers

You may be able to get one from a Lucas or Bosch outlet. There's a lot of overlap between manufacturers and parts like this. I've managed to get Bosch parts from a lucas outlet before.
This is not a signature.

Damn! Just spoken to Euro Car Parts in Reading. They can do Bosche ones for £24 (+VAT?) but the Bendix ones can only be got from Peugeot - and they're £120++++++

Anyone got one spare???

I'm sure I have heard that some of these sensors are common to certain model Frauds.
Unfortunately, being over here, we may also get different models to you.
Might be worth taking one to a Ford dealer and asking if they can match it; it is only a bloody magnet after all!
