Xantia rear bump stops

I was checking the rear brake pads yesterday when i noticed the rear rubber bump stops are perished, can anyone tell me where i can get some replacements at reasonable price. :-D

Do you mean the phallic ones, or the little pyramidal items?

Both are dealer only parts; not common on Fleabay.

They're abou £16-18 each from the dealer

I did a piece on it in a recent Citroenian....

I noticed mine were in fairly bad order a while back, wouldnt mind changing them too. Every time I think of it I have a look on ebay but theres never any. Looks like I'm off to the dealer so.

I have a Citroen Xantia "Y" reg estate 110 hdi, i don't know what shape the bump stops are, as there's only the bit left where it fits into the chassis member!, can you buy a universal replacement part. Or is a trip to the scrapyard.

Does it make a difference if i don't replace them, as i suspect they perished years ago?????????????

Yea, that's better, a big, fat well-fed one...

Thanks for the photo at least i know what they look like. How do you fit them ? do they bolt onto the chassis?

They just screw/press in

I'm a bit out of touch with Citroen mechanicals but have you tried GSF car parts?
