I don't have knowledge of the Peugeot, but the issue of a loose connection is known with several makes of car.
I doubt the piece of plastic holding the cable to the floor will cause an issue with the air bag light, but an intermittent loose connection in the plug and socket almost certainly will. Check for a good electrical connection within. Look...

Well, we did it.

Davie and I met up in Fort William on Sunday 3 September, and did a quick 'off piste' run in his much-loved 205 to Glenfinnan and Mallaig. It rained all the way, but didn't spoil seeing a Black Five in full steam at Mallaig station. The rain was pretty heavy, I can tell you.

NFC Autocare will be opening their doors to us on Saturday 27th and Sunday 28th August (Bank Holiday Weekend) between 10:00 and 16:00. This is your opportunity get under your vehicle and get those bits and bobs done. There are umpteen hotels and camp sites within the area, so why not come along and make a weekend of it?

Brands Hatch Summer Wednesdays are back - and this time on a sought after weekend date, Sunday 22nd November.

The Citroen Car Club has a new Group in the North West. We are covering the area's of Merseyside, Lancashire, Cheshire and Cumbria. Which will be the first Wednesday of each month beginning on the 2nd December 2015.

Glasgow Riverside 27th September

There will be a show of Citroens of all types, from Traction to C4 Grand Picasso via DS, BX , Xantia and 2cv outside the Riverside Museum in Glasgow tomorrow. Anyone interested please just call in. The displayed cars will be in place by 10.30.
Should be about 20 or so cars and excellent weather promised.

I am delighted to announce that the defunct CXM Rally will return after a year off as the Chevrons Rally, same location and similar time, this was always historically a very well attended and popular Rally with all models welcomed but it did cater for the larger Citroens CX/XM and C6, now it will encompass any vehicle which bears the double...

Just to give you a 'Heads Up' we have a provisional dates 15th and 16th August the event will be in the midlands, more information once things have been firmed up...... so those of you that need to book time off, start filling your forms in.....

This is an event open to one and all, it doesn't matter what you drive, just bring it along.............

14/16th August at the Stratford Race Course as previous years,

Always a good rally for BX's/xantias and nice and central

Luddington Road, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire CV37 9SE

Entrance historically £5/7 per car.

As a result of a change of heart/plans, I hope to there on the Sunday (unless someone can persuade me it'd be worth going up Saturday & staying over).

Be useful so see a selection of Xantias, as I'm now thinking about getting one!
