Xantia SX L94 1.9TD issue

My central locking is playing up sometimes, when using the plip it locks and then unlocks straighaway, even it does it with using the key, I was told to clean the doors' sensors as one of the doors thinks its still open, but I could not find the sensors on the doors, does anyone knows what/where to clean please?

Try a couple of squirts of WD40 in side the door lock (on the door). My Xsra did this and I just squirted some WD40 inside the hole in the door where it butts up against the catch on the body. All OK now.

Thanks Stuart I will have a go today, something else, my power steering works fine, but when steering to the right or the left is makes some noise, it sounds spraying, it goes louder when it fully steered, appreciate any help/advice.

I think that's normal, especially the extra noise at full lock.
Well, maybe it isn't normal, but mine does that too so I hope it is[:)]

My steering does exactly the same.Has done since i got the car 3 yrs ago.
