Hoping somebody on here can help/ provide more details on this...
i was hoping to sell my car but when the dealer plugged his OBD reader in it was throwing up a fault - U1208 - communication on the CAN with the Engine Management ECU - Permanent
he took the car out for a drive and everything was fine, no issues with the car and everything in full working order - radio, sat nav, nothing wrong at all
after having a look around, possible issue would be the 12v battery?
I'm just hoping somebody on here has similar issue or any advise on how to look further into the problem and what a fix could be? the car is a 2021 E-2008
TIA - J

Too modern for me I'm afraid but hopefully someone will have an idea or two!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Is the 12v battery the original one?
As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Yeah original battery - daily use - 12miles a day roughly - home charged once a week - never had anything on the dash with warnings etc
