I need to replace the centre part of the front grill.
This is the solid part that covers the towing eye bolt hole, has part number '7452HV' and is what I think Service Box refers to as the 'front bumper capping'.
Question is, is it possible to remove and replace this part without taking the entire front bumper off?

The whole thing appears to be only held on by 4 clips in each 'bulb' at the ends.
Wondering if these could be shimmed out or maybe in a pinch, cutting down the lateral centreline to remove the old one before just pushing the new one back into place.

Pretty sure the whole bumper has to come off. It's not hard. 2 10mm bolts each side in the upper wheel arch and a handful of poppers along the bonnet slam panel and a few more underneath. Took mine on and off about a million times last summer for various reasons and got it down to about 20 mins. The inner part of the bumper, ie the grille is clipped in from behind.

Re: 207/207cc front grill removal
I'm tempted to do the whole thing as you say because I need to drill out the old towing eye that's been snapped off in the crash bar.
But I reckon the old one could be cut out and the new one (currently sitting on my sofa) could just be pushed in.
Sadly it's looking like I've got to do the front and rear as two of my parking sensors are knackered.
I think I'm also a contender for worlds worst 207cc...
