The above goes under sevearl names but th A owens seems to be the front . I recently found out they were investgated by the Daily mail i think about 8 months or just over ago for selling sub standards cars at over inflated prices . Some of which should not even be on the road. This company sold me this picasso knowing fully well it wasnt fir to be on the road. People like this are scum they lie about everything. Avoid them at all costs.

AN UPDATE.

This morning two good pals of mine both mecanics for 30yr, have been to vist today and went over the c3 picasso with a fine tooth comb even resetting the injectors while they were here they ran a full diagnostic aswell which was free. The head gasket has and is looking like its gone between pots 3&4. Theres that sweet smell plus a grey white from exhaust. Was mentiined that it could well of been an intimittant leak becasue when my pals checked the water bottle they sipaid the brown colour indicated barrs stop leak because i had to drain the coolant when i got the car due to a job i was doing i then flushed the system added all new coolant then over a few weeks the barrs broke down and the head gasket failed. Im lucky its more of less failed on my own drive. Then plan is as follows myself and my two friends are planning on taking the engine & gearbox out in one. The clutch can be checked , the trust bearing will be renewed due to the whistle. The head gasket will be done & the oil pump will be checked and replaced if need be. If we find anything else it will be fix all together . Total cost £600. This includes all part to. I think this is a very fair price . Hoping to start next weekend. More updates to follow as & when.

How do i put this with out sounding sexist, 2 former lady owners. Plus the over boasted service intervals by PSA , and the result is lots of used cars now being rubbish.

I don't think that is sexist at all Husky, but it is an indictment of the number of garages happy to rip off the unsuspecting motorist!! :-D

An old friend of mine worked for ford many years ago he left after 5 yr reason was all the years of being told by them higher up telling the mechanics not to telephone the customers for a few more hours to go collect there car to rake in an extra 3 or more hours of doing nothing added to the final bill, he had enough of this going on & left.

My son got sacked by Currie Motors for refusing to do that very thing, and he was a salesman not a mechanic!! :)
