Then it appears a banner update may be on the cards. However like Ryan I am intrigued as to why the current one appears to be a mirror image of the actual badge. :)

I think you'll find the lion is still facing the Renault symbol, just like it always was. Nothing's changed there 8-)

I know how that happened.

The forum banner contains a cropped image of the french flag with the marque logos superimposed on it. Sadly the original image file of the flag is lost to us, so we can't edit the banner file without losing quality.

Some years ago a helpful user pointed out that the French flag was reversed, so I made a mirror image of the banner file, which resulted in the logos being reversed. I carefully mirrored the Peugeot logo back in Photoshop and mended the damage to the flag. I never noticed that the Renault logo is also handed.

You can have the version with the reversed flag if you prefer.

Thanks Mike, that has cleared that little mystery up nicely!! :-D Maybe, taking Neil's post into account, there will be a need for a new banner in the near future to keep the standard up!! (Pun intended :-D )

There was a comment from a scientist answering do clocks run clockwise, his answer 'not if you're the clock'.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.

That's strange, a local pub to me has a clock which goes anti clockwise. It has no numbers on it so if you've had to many you think it's home time! The pub is called the Arena Tavern btw.

This is the clock in my study, I couldn't be bothered to video it and then load to Youtube and link so here are four consecutive shots taken a second or 2 apart as you can see:

I notice in that ad that all the clocks have blank faces yet they claim it's an 'Officially licensed product'. Odd, I've had mine for some years and it is labelled with the maker's name and the interesting motto 'seilF emiT' :-D

This is the clock hanging on my wall it's a hundred years old, dad won it in a fishing contest when he was fifteen, it still works but only runs for three days before stopping, asked the local clock shop if it could be fixed they said "yes for £300."

That looks like an ideal candidate for The Repair Shop on BBC. Just make sure you tell them that your father had it with him when he parachuted into occupied France during the war and that it was used in part of an escape attempt from Stalag Luft III and that it means so much to you. They'll love that and fix it for you before the clock strikes midnight
