They look out of place on the AX but I like them on the XM.
Could do with some on the Mazda, the headlights are very poor. Never going to happen of course.

Here's another unusual one which you could argue qualifies for this thread :-D

The other one, on the thread was this

The main feature of that one really needs to be noted the "Interiors and Dashboards ( Interesting and Awful)" thread, strangely at both ends of the spectrum. Quite a head turner, but generally more "aargh!" than "ooh!" :-D

A now Rare Estate up for auction at Mathewsons.
Bit of 1974 publicity for it, and the marketing phrase used at the time.

The 2300 version was apparently faster from 30-50 than a selected Ferrari and a selected Porsche.

My ex Father-in Law had one and offered to sell it to me for £1300 but I found a comparable option for £1.30 :-D :

Only 33 licenced Magnum's of all classes on the roads of the United Kingdom, so the 3-door estate version is indeed a rarity.

I suspect this 1976 variation is even rarer only 197 ever made...the "dropsnoot" Vauxall Magnum Sportshatch 3-door Estate.

Plenty of opportunities for noticing Estate Cars in the wild, and taking an original photo for the thread, but very few opportunities to get one of an Austin/Morris 1100/1300 estate.

As can be seen from the thread title the humble estate has a number of different names. Austin adds to this with the "Countryman" and Morris with the "Traveller". A more modern name purlogned for the estate is "Tourer" while "Traveller" is largely if not completely metaphorically given the boot, but yes "Countryman" survives to 2024. Have a look out for it in a familiarity phenomenon way, see if one pops out coincidentally over the coming days :-D

A double Countryman spot today within 20 yards of each other. The first of course took pride of place on the familiarity phenomenom official record here....viewtopic.php?p=803433#p803433
