Morning all
I've had a dodgy flap on the passenger side for a while only allowing chilled air with the drivers side being fine. A few days ago all heat stopped, the car diverts air to where it should go but the air isn't being chilled on the drivers side its just not hot with no change on the passenger side which I would expect with the flap being stuck oddly enough the car now only demists the passenger side. It's not froze as the pipes are hot to to the heater where they pass through the firewall and the rad hearts up as it should. Now then, is there a solenoid or actuator that stops hot water getting to the heater matrix? I can live with the dicky flap I'd just like to restore heat to the driver compartment I've not inspected anything mechanically as I currently have no access to my tools.
