RT4 stuck on boot up

This is the RT3 unit and was made by Magneti Marelli
The RT3 was available in a few different hardware versions, the later ones supporting MP3 playback. These units had an optical connection to the Display Screen.

Was your RT3 the VAN or CAN version ? You have to have a compatible version. What software version was your original RT3 showing as (firmware)?

Do you also have the correct connectors as the RT3 uses fibre optic connections to the screen where the RT4 does not.

Take a l;ook here - Phibu do the conversion harness and the radio adapter harness too. On some vehicles with RT3, the FM aerials have a splitter somewhere and you may need the adapter to convert these back to a single connection. Details here:

The missing aerials won't make a difference to the boot sequence - it will just mean no satellites or no radio reception / GSM reception.

If it's not booting you have either a faulty unit or a non-compatible unit or an electrical connection or multiplexing issue, or programming.
