I was wading through the thread looking for the DS James posted in case it was already there but I didn't use the search just skimmed it to get the link to first post! You slotted in between my two posts! :rofl2:

I have spoken to RCI and there is an outstanding battery lease on the Zoe. It can be bought out outright or re-leased and they are emailing me a quote in due course!! Interest not dead yet!! :-D

I'd be interested in that Mick, my contract says it cannot be bought out but in the last couple of years that seems to have changed.
I think though that the buy out price might be a catch.

Seems like around 2020 RCI started the Buy-outs for the 22kWh Zoes.

https://www.speakev.com/threads/rci-now ... %20models.

So in June 2020 this poster received a buy-out quote of £2,750 for a 2015 Zoe.

Quote received and it is still a viable project for us. As I don't want to publish the figure for the world to see as it may affect other potential bidders, I am happy to tell anyone who has already posted on this thread by PM so if you'd like to know PM me!! :-D

Received your PM Mick. Interesting.

Rest assured I won't be bidding against you Mick.

How much do they charge for such a service Eric?

Sorry for the unintentional pun there....

I don't know about this one Jim I think it may include a new 12v battery this time but not sure.

Last year for the service MOT and a cabin filter the total all in including the dreaded VAT was £159.00.

So no oil change, oil filter, plugs to change but still £159, that's odd

Main dealer Ryan if it was petrol probably a grand. :-D Got a nice tick box form with gawd knows how many tests and checks they did, I know they had the rear brake drums off and did a state of health check on the traction battery.
The problem I have with them is you can't get past the receptionist, the car's whisked away to the workshop and comes back sparkling clean washed and valeted inside, I'd like to chat with the mechanics.
Might try a different garage this time there's one equidistant away in Herefordshire.
