One year we holidayed late (October/November) near Pendine. The only day it rained was the day we left. My colleagues at work was convinced I had been abroad!

And not too far from me the memorial stone on the way to Aberystwyth for Dryweryn.

For those that don't know, this was the Welsh village that was flooded back in 1965 so that Liverpool could have our water!

^ I'm based quite close to Capel Celyn, it's used to maintain the level of the river Dee in order to allows water abstraction downstream in Chester for the Liverpool area.

I used to pass that memorial everyday to and from Aber, it has been defaced a few times, but is always restored very quickly after an incident.

Now if I was to select one from your list it would have to be the 1972 Citroen DS...is it a go-er?

It is, though it's not the shiniest DS. I'll see what I can do.

I am always disappointed with these when I look at them "in the flesh". So many little things wrong that they add up to make them a disappointment.
