Saturday's Original Heardle
Fail. I'm about as familiar with the genre of soca (Soul of Calypso) as hip-hop.

60's heardle, https://www.60s.heardledecades.com/
2 seconds...not entirely my own work though, got guessed by the room before I could even apply my own knowledge to the debate :-D I did supply the correct title though.
70's heardle, https://www.70s.heardledecades.com/
5 seconds. Sound effect helped.
80's heardle https://heardle80s.com/
2 seconds . Suspect most of the FCF faithful will flounder with it. Surprisingly an important track, Produced by Richard Burgess in 1984, is widely considered as the precursor to house music, referred to as a proto-house track and a precursor to garage house.....does that help :-D :?:

If anyone wants to join in and do the heardles here are the links. There is of course a 90's and 2000's now I do believe but that's a bit out of my comfort zone, so these are the ones I do.
Havent done it yet.

100% today

Original Heardle all decades https://www.heardle.app/ needed 11 Seconds and the Sax to start.
60's heardle, https://www.60s.heardledecades.com/ 2 seconds
70's heardle, https://www.70s.heardledecades.com/ 3 seconds
80's heardle https://heardle80s.com/ 8 seconds

Wouldn't have got the artist's for the 60's, but the guess bar is part of the game, the song title is well known.
Extremely well known band, nailed the song too after 3.
Needed the vocals to start, unmistakeable if you know, and took the best option from the guess list.

Original Fail (inevitable) would have needed more than 5 seconds extra to get that one....the general public will be switching off if heardle keep selecting that particular genre.
60's 12 Seconds Like the group I can picture a video of them on a train doing the song.
70's Fail.....I think you would have to be a fan to get it.
80's 12 Seconds

50%. Success rate today.

A not so good day for me, the usual 3 fails although I did have a feeling about the 70's. However the real let down was the 5 secs for the 60's. Recognised it immediately but just could not bring it to mind without the extra bit!! :-D

The video on the train was another of their songs and it was in Stockholm.

Original - not a clue and it can stay that way.
Sixties: twelve seconds.
Seventies. Fail, not who I thought it might be.
Eighties: As above.
