Loads of the usual suspects there. Huge storm so ignored them.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
In Tesco yesterday there was a car park attendant sniffing around the cars on the chargers checking if they were on charge and had obviously timed their arrival time.
Seems they have a new carpark management company.

Gibbo, have you checked whether the 15 minute Tesco pod-point freebie has now turned into a 5 minute freebie. Definitely has round here. Hexham, Berwick, Kingston Park, North Shields all the same. Used to be 15 mins now 5.

Haven't checked Neil, since they started charging for it I've just charged at home.

A DPD deliver over the road, no camera with me, not even the phone, was burning weeds.
Something new to me and hard to identify, traced by the badge on the front.
Very quiet.

That's the old LDV Sherpa, before the company went belly up they had and EV on the drawing board, the Chinese picked up the bits.

I think, but can't be sure, that the one I saw was a bit different. Flat front rather than the protruding one in the picture.

Plenty around today, not all adopt the green flash. A black Nissan Ariya being a case in point. Looks like I inadvertently snapped this EV while trying to get a photo of the unusual Wylam signal box quickly through the open window. Makes quite a pleasing unusual angle image.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
We have one of these as a work van at the airport.
Performance is good, the rest is quite nasty. The plastics are cheap and rattle, though it's still way better built than any LDV I've ever driven
I find the hair-trigger accelerator pedal especially irritating. Also, my arse has no padding. Neither do the seats.

Re: Electric Vehicles: What have you spotted?
I don't think it was a fridge but I didn't look to closely, I can see it being used by lots of takeaway companies like pizza etc.
