Not actually spotted and only a hybrid but daughter has been swanning about in the new XC90 from the place she works.
Got right up the nose of a bloke in the back seat who thought that he should have been the driver. If only he knew of her driving experience.

She's going to call in with it next week as she will be coming for coffins. If it goes quiet I am in one of them.
(Coffin factory a quarter of a mile from me, right next to where I worked in the 80s).

Does that model come with indicators or is it still an optional extra?

Funny you should say that Mick, last night I had a strange dream where I hired a van... I was given an indicator stalk to fit before I could drive away in it

This is getting really weird - two weeks ago a 4007 owner posted on Aussie Frogs that after sitting 'for a while' the car won't start. He has just posted the following photo (presumably that is actually the wiper stalk that's missing - but near enough):

I'm not sure if this is a first photo for the thread? A very distinctive Ora! :-D

Yes, that would be the first FCF original photo Mick, well spotted and well photographed.

It's an example not of China flooding the European market with cheap EV's but China not rocking the boat and enjoying the price and profit premium of selling their vehicles pretty much in line with the European going rate for similar class vehicles.

From the archives...
NewcastleFalcon wrote: 27 Sep 2022, 13:21 Great Wall's potentially disruptive EV the "Ora Good Cat", has made it to Europe and Peter Vardy's branded as the "Ora Funky Cat". With the passage of time, it has arrived in Europe/UK not at a disruptive price, but at a price which fits in with what they are competing with in Europe.
Great Wall have an outlet at Coldstream, so every chance funky cats may make their way to the Borders.

NewcastleFalcon wrote: 31 Oct 2021, 10:05 Avid readers of the this thread will have come across Great Wall's Ora Brand Jonny, but nice walk through. Would have liked it to be a little more disruptive in price point. Chinese Standard Price £11,500, but unfortunately Europe's market is overpriced, and who would blame them for looking at the spec of their own car, and the competition, and just pricing it at a start price of £25,000 (before plug in grant) couple of thousand under its rivals, rather than being truly disruptive.

As reported here ( viewtopic.php?p=698917#p698917 ) Great Wall and Barcelona have been cosying up for a European manufacturing base.

The much maligned Jaguar I-Pace, but here presented in a gorgeous almost black deep blue.

It maybe has the "Car of the Year" curse and in 2019 swept the board with European and World Titles. India's finest built in Austria. Plenty kicking about, and this is a very nice example in a colour which got the nod for a shutter click.
