Activa Club de France

Unread post by Green fluid »

Hi everybody,

We were talking recently with Alasdair on Facebook about how to unify all the existing content existing on our favorite car, and as the president of the Club, I think that's for sure the right direction :)
There are quite a lot of French websites dealing with the Xantia actually :
- http://xantia.pagesperso-orange.fr/ : general documentation about the car (not especially Activa)
- http://xantia007.free.fr/ : a bit more oriented, the owner of the site has a V6 Activa & a 2.0 16V Exclusive break
- http://activa-club.fr/ : our new website, aiming at replacing the good ol' http://activaclubfrance.free.fr/ which will soon no longer have any content the new one won't have.

And of course our forum, http://activa.forumactif.org which is opened to people who have presented themselves and a car (Activa or not).

We'd like to make most of our documentation accessible to everybody, but I guess some documentation will be more complicated to translate than the others, but perhaps more interesting (I'm thinking about Citroën "expert's books for hydraulics). Additionnally, we already have more than enough in our todolist with our french articles from our side :)

We would gladly host any content you could bring - if you want to participate of course. But if anybody finds a better solution, I'll gladly listen and participate : after all, we aim at helping the car, not the club.

That being said, we've also talked about opening an English-speaking section on our very French forum. Do you think it's a good idea, or would it be useless because duplicate of FCF & Facebook ?

Well... that was what's on the top of my head. Now I'm all ears if you have any idea that would make documentation and all more accessible, or if you find I'm having bad ideas... :)
