Radio options for my 2007 MK2 C5 exclusive

Hello,

well ive only had the car since December and I'm bored with the radio.

it would be so much nicer with DAB, maybe the odd usb input socket
and definitely the addition of Bluetooth for hands free phone calls without all the
birds nest of wiring of external equipment cluttering up the dash and centre consul.

can anyone enlighten me as to my options in replacing the Bog standard radio
in my 2007 C5 exclusive please with something a little more refined without loosing
to many of the functions already available on the old one?

I think I'm over my boy racer days of needing to feel the bass turn over my internal organs.
don't get me wrong the sound quality aint half bad for a basic stereo but its to far short of modern
needs.

Not much of an option for you Nigel without loosing the configuration interface of your car. The facelift C5 (yours) has a lot of the car configuration options built into the Head Unit - so if you replace this you will loose access to these options! You can always add a CD changer - or better still, you can get an option that plugs into the CD-Changer and will give you bluetooth access and USB / MP3 input.
