Re: Replacing Xantia Instrument Illumination Bulbs

Post by Old-Guy »

Ta muchly Jim. I've had a box of (Ring) bulbs for the best part of a year but have been putting off the job. I noticed a couple of nights ago that another bulb in the rev counter has gone and last time I had the steering wheel off (several years ago), I put it back on one spline out! Time to do the job and take some S1 pictures!
2012 Subaru Forester - capable but no magic carpet
2011 Grand C4 Picasso VTR+ 1.6HDi - not missed!
1995 Xantia Estate SX 1.9TD in Vert Vega "The Green Lady" - sadly missed
1998 Xantia 2.1 VXD Estate in Mauritius Blue - R.I.P. (terminal tin-worm)

Guy, some S1 pictures would be magnificent and very appreciated, especially to show the top cowl and why the steering wheel has to come off to release it fully...

Also, a picture of how to line up the rotary would be extremely valuable too..

Thanks ever so much :D

All the best when you come to do the job ;)
