Picasso xsara .............'o3..
has any one got a image of the way the door check is fitted?
mine today has started to make several clicks as the door is operated,
looks as if the bolts holding it in have come loose, is it a kind of box arrangement bolted to the door? or maybe something more awkward?
thanks,
Bob

Re: drivers door check mechanism
Bob - can you provide the VIN please and clarify in a little more detail what you want a diagram of? Is it the physical locking / latch mechanism and / or the door latch?

Re: drivers door check mechanism
Bob means the door check strap - the thing poking out of the front edge of the door that is attached with a pin to the A-post.
They bolt in from inside the door if they're the same as a 306 and Berlingo, need to remove the door panel and have long spindly arm to remove them.

Marc, /Ben
thanks for your help, it was nuts "74" holding the assembly to the front edge door that needed looking at with a 10mm socket/ratchet,
all fixed now,
all the best,
Bob
