Steve - that led me onto looking for some iPhone apps and then onto this site which is exactly what I was looking for :-D

I've now got a permanent link on iPhone and PC for those awkward journeys.

I am looking at various options of SAT NAV and the thing that is putting me off from my final decision is lack of UK post codes, well, I think I have found two options for the RT6

1 - http://www.peugeotforums.com/forums/508 ... ndex8.html
"DonaldF - Senior Member - All updated... I'm now running version 2.85 Now I have to try and update the maps..... Hi i can now use 7 digit post codes after updating to 2.85"
or
2, http://www.gpspower.net/peugeot-citroen ... ope-5.htmldevilsears - Ahh no I got it ! It is expecting a 7 digit post code , so if I put a space between the 3rd and 5th digit (wa7 3tu and not wa73tu) all is well. I just wish they would have a field for post code entry!

Can anyone confirm?
Cheers
Stu

Stu - see my post here somewhere down the middle - the response that I got on this issue (mine was regarding the Navidrive, and I was using the RT6 as an example) so anything above 2.80 you will get the 7 digit postcodes (Lucky Sod) :-D

You can also get the latest firmware (2.86.B-R1) from here:

Just remember, Firmware update first, then any map update.

Thanks Marc,
And there was me getting all excited, but I now know for definite, that if I go for the OEM SAT NAV I need the RT6 at least. Only trouble is that makes it harder to find as they were only fitted to some cars from 2010 (DS5) and the rest including the X7 from 2011.
While doing a little more searching I found this document that gives more help in identifying the various units.http://citroen-auch.com/documents_citro ... gation.pdf

That's handy, nice find Stu.
Prices vary hugely for one of these - here's a few I found that you may have seen already:

Thanks Marc, I think I will now start looking, but before I go too far I will need to track down the dash panel, as I think they are like hens teeth 2nd hand, and now I am getting confused again, some people are advertising the RT6 and Nreg2 as the same unit!! oh why can life not be simple anymore!!

Back to trawling the net again....................

Stu, when you do track down the fascia - (for the purposes of removing and replacing the screen) the beginning of this video shows removing the existing small screen fascia and fitting their replacement widescreen panel with the clips etc. It may prove useful if you do decide to go ahead.

Just been having a squiz for a display screen or the fascia panel trim - and couldn't find a single one anywhere!

Thanks Marc, I had already seen that one, and I have already had the trim off to see what was behind, but did not take it apart.
Watch this space, I may get lucky!!
