I just bought a new cooker, the grill in the old (not that old) could take half an hour to light and stay lit, then another half hour to make a slice of toast.

The new one is very quick and the first time I used it, with the grill pan on the top shelf, there was smoke and flames in less than half a minute. The bread was in contact with the flame :(
No photographic evidence. And I have repeated it :(

Just one comment from me Vic... Yum 😋😋😋

I prepare all my food from absolute scratch although I'm nowhere near as competent as you... I do make a cracking vegan curry even if I say so myself...

And for POTD today I offer a 'grab' from my bikecam... Quite a sky and a very lively ride in the wind!

:-D I do indeed Ryan.. Don't ever worry if I go AWOL for a few days. I occasionally need to pull the metaphorical plugs and take a break to mentally recharge

I usually end up doing much physical stuff that requires very little from my brain, like loads of long runs and bike rides.

I enjoy what sleep I get - not much these days but I seem to thrive on it! Usually 6 hours a night and once I'm awake that's it. Game over...

6 hours would be a long night for me, I usually get 4-5 with the occasional mega sleep that can last 8-10 hours but only once every 3 or 4 months for that. However as this is POTD which number do you favour, or if not exactly here which is the closest, for me it's a cross between top row number 2 and bottom row number 5 :-D

I sleep almost all the time on my back nowadays and disturb the bedding very little. It almost looks like I've not actually slept in the bed.

This stems from my broken neck and ribs when I had to learn to sleep on my back and not roll around - If I did it was agonising!

Now I cannot sleep in any other way...

Just playing with presenting images in tables with a recap of the monthly awards so far. I put up a little "guide" on the train buffs thread. Not difficult, quite logical. link viewtopic.php?p=796110#p796110
