There is a melodic phrase in Raindrop which reminded me of one of the classic TV drama series themes so I went to check it out. Having listened to it I'm not so sure but the accompanying photographs and at least the water connection make it worth a viewing I think so here it is from Simon May:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!
That bit of phrasing is familiar but I don't know where from.
I have never watched Howards Way. I had it confused with The Onedin Line at first, also never watched but the theme music for that was quite distinctive.
Coincidentally with the above, I watched "Pride And Prejudice" last night and heard the following.
I have it on CD and have had for years but could remember neither the name, nor the composer.
No mention in the credits either.
I thought that I might remember after a few hours but had to use Mr Google in the end.
Cowboy Junkies, the Timmins siblings from Timmins, Ontario. Town founded by their grandfather.
Also the birthplace of Shania Twain.
The singer, Margo, was a secretary and had never sung a note in her life until her brothers asked her if she could sing for them.
Which worked very well for them.
Met her a few years ago, lovely woman.
