...but as far as music linkage goes I ended up listening to Thin Lizzy/Gary Moore via Sade as one of Frankie Millers more memorablle performances was in a duet with Phil Lynott on the Thin Lizzy song..."Still in Love With You".

It became a staple of Thin Lizzy's Live Performance.

I still go back to the superb performance by Think Lizzy and Gary Moore of 'Don't believe A Word' live on The Old Grey Whistle Test, that was previously posted on the P.E. Jukebox. :)

Many versions of that song Bobins, but that one takes some beating. As the regular PE watcher/listener will appreciate BH has added his magic top some beatuiful tunes...and plenty scope for further links....

..and my link would go through Bruce Hornsby to Don Henley and "The End of the Innocence" where Bruce is also tinkling the Ivories...

From Don Henley it is but a very short flight (not even a lightyear) to The Eagles..... and, Although space is big. Really big. You just won't believe how vastly hugely mind bogglingly big it is. I mean you may think it's a long way down the road.... it is only a short hop to The Eagles :-D

Don't Panic !

There you go........that's me educated never knew it was the theme tune to the radio Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy!

and of all the Eagles tracks in their repertoire, first time of hearing from me.

I follow it up with a "holding link" through the Eagles to their Hollywood Waltz. Simple little tune but one which I have always liked.

Make the Link

John D. Loudermilk...............

He wrote the song "Hollywood" recorded by Connie Francis...quite an unexceptional but not unpleasant little song, but also wrote the above classic "Indian Reservation".

Join in...its easy.

From the rocks above the pass"

Make the link....

Well Jools Holland's contribution towards "Cool for Cats" didn't appear too challenging for a man of his talent.

...and strangely enough, a double link is still on....

Post a track

One from the Spencer Davis Group."...links with Miles Davis by name of course, although Spencer did drop the 'e' from his Welsh Davies, and Spencer links with the track before the last one as well!

But what is Spencer Davis Group's best.....has to be one with Steve Winwood in it, (and his wonderfully named brother 'Muff') and what better than a bit of squealing Hammond I presume..... so Gimme some lovin it is

I'll resist the temptation to follow up the Davis / Davies link and not post up Windsor Davies and Don Estelle's 'interesting' version of Whispering Grass :-D

Unless perhaps I can use Leonard Cohen as a link :)

Leonard had some wonderful backing singers.
I was very taken with Julie Christensen and Perla Batilla when I saw him, a longer time ago that I am comfortable with.
