I'm buying a set of these,
They are from an R reg Mk2 2.1 Diesel. I don't think i've seen them before, are they unusual?
The whole car is being broken up if anybody is interested.
My exclusive wheels may well be up for sale when I fit these wheels!

Nice. Are the dimensions the same as MK2 alloys?

Re: Unusual Xantia Alloys?
They are full 15" originally fitted to the V6 Exclusive Mark 1 XM..
Ive got 2 or three left, they are a PITA.. They are either true and round and will balance, and at limited places due to the centreless idea, or out of true and never blance!

Re: Unusual Xantia Alloys?
Most older ones if they have a curb mark/gouge never balance right again
It's a shame but it's the way they go

I've got a set on my V6 I love them, in fact I've just acquired a fifth one for the spare.

Those are the ones I was looking at buying! Nearly new tyres on them, they have put them to one side for me. Do you know if they're straight?
Why did your friend scrap it anyway? McGuinness don't pay very well for cars.

Re: Unusual Xantia Alloys?
They were when I sold him the car 3 year ago, but I'm not sure about now!
He had a major hydraulic leak on the main high pressure pipe that goes to the stop light switch, we replaced that for him but every other pipe near there is rusty as hell so we decided it wasn't worth replacing more and more pipes, especially as the rear door shut is pretty rusty, and there was some rust creeping up above the nearside rear wheel on the C-pillar

Re: Unusual Xantia Alloys?
I hate these wheels with a passion. Not their looks as they look absolutely ace and perhaps they're the best looking wheels out there. They remind me of the old Minilites. Lovely wheels.
I have had S1 Xantia V6s with them and I have an XM with them - not identical as they're five-stud and called Monte Carlo - but the same problem remains - they are a real pain to clean, to keep clean and very soon after a good and difficult clean they look as bad again...
If the cars had drum brakes all-round there'd be no problem...

Re: Unusual Xantia Alloys?
The spokes and gaps between look large enough, surely they can't be as bad as many other wheels?
