Ha, that's exactly the same , colour and even the rot spot as the one I looked at a year ago before I bought the annoying Skoda.

A relative has just had the sills done on their 06 2.0 HDi - MOT advisory - the local just cut out the relevant parts and welded - finished off with some matching paint and good as new - they did look at a supplier that provides both sills made for these, but the damage didn't warrant a complete replacement.

It's just getting the grot cut out and a patch welded in on both sides, then a lick of paint and that's the job jobbed. I shall clap eyes on it tomorrow afternoon, then have a 150 mile drive home.

Having read those various tales, I don't feel so bad about the C15 needing a sill patching, although some might say it's not worth it but you don't see them for £200/250 any more (in fact there's one on ebay with no MoT - for £400!) & I've kind of bonded. I took the Eldo down to the ATM to get some cash for fettling the red Cherokee on Monday, started after standing for must be 6 weeks without hesitation & is eerily quiet - but was still glad to get back in the C15 to loon back to London in that evening.

Picasso picked up. Fully stamped service book, two keys years mot all for £800. It's a good one.

First impressions are that it is good, but brakes not really the sharpest, and steering seems vague. Steering may be because of winter grips on the front and of course I am comparing it to a 16 plate 7500 mile c1 lol

The steering is vague and the brakes aren't the sharpest on any of them Davie :)

Noooo these are a bloody great car! Just a shame they never came with leather seats. I've got my mate's here at the moment (over a year actually now!) . Totally and utterly reliable and economical.

Looks well worth the asking price.

Been twelve years at least since I was last in one but I seem to remember these being a lot more pleasant to travel in than they look like they've any right to.

Fantastically clever use of space inside too.

For 800 quid I think it's a great bargain. Espically after giving it a good going over this morning before it goes to it's new owner. Super comfy run up the A90 and round the awpr. 144 miles and trip computer says over 60 mpg. I wouldnt be disappointed if it were to be my own car.

They'd need to be! I just think they're strange - & not in good/Citroën way.

The new owner of the picasso loves it for the comfort, space, versatility, economy but is not too impressed by the looks. However for what it cost it is about as good a car as she could have, and she is inside looking out so doesnt have to look at it haha. She has shown her appreciation for me finding and collecting it.

My heap of junk vw has left the premises. In 11 months I have done less than 4000 miles, mostly because it has been more time broken than it has been working. It has had a replacement gearbox and clutch, a replacement turbo, a broken driveshaft, a massive oil leak, other driveshaft cv joint, and clutch slave cylinder. It still has a smaller oil leak, knackered cv joint, eml on, a hole in a sill and a lot of body rust, and 5 weeks mot left. It was actually great to drive when it was going, I would say it was remapped, and easy on fuel. I'm not sad to see it go though, it would have been challenging to get past its next mot,

My c1 and Leon are behaving impeccably, absolutely nothing to report.

Shaun, my somewhat wayward son has at last screwed the nut and has found a decent job again. He had to get his 107 going after well over a year. It had a replacement engine fitted and had never ran since. A new battery fitted and still wouldnt go. Plugged in the cheapo phone based diagnostics, nothing recorded. Plugged in the Lexus, nothing shown up again. Tried the starter whilst the Lexus was plugged in and it started and ran as sweet as a nut.unplugged the Lexus, it wouldnt start. Plugged in the cheapo diagnostic and it went. We came to the conclusion that there is a wiring fault in the obd socket. The "cure"? Leave the bluetooth cheapo diagnostics plugged in permanently. That's a few weeks now and it's working perfectly with it in, take it out the car wont start. It needed a few little things done for mot, but very little really for a car with 94000 miles covered and been lying neglected unused for a year and a half.
