It needs to be driven around to make it do its thing!

The fuel pressure needs to get higher then 950bar, and simply revving to the red line doesn;t touch this, it needs to be in gear pulling to cut out!

MOT runs out in december, but shes tax'd till Febuary.. so if you lot want to insure it and mess around with it then thats great. Be good to see if its something simple Ive missed.

Im not bothered any more.. she goes she runs she starts she takes us every where only if i drive like an old giffer..

Which i dont mind as it saves fuel. Taken tuning box off so that reduces the urge so while i sort other things out shes fine. Im capable just not interested now.

Anyone want to buy her when im done? Just had a new clutch in too 1k ago..

ahhh what about a dodgy connection on the accelerator control mondule
nice and easy to check that give the connections a good clean and check the wire loom which would move under tilt under load i guess

Well, with no progress with an XM project Ive been battleing with, Ive been forced to put the Xantia in for yet another MOT!

After a personal check over, I had to fit a rear near side wheel bearing, which was rather easy once I know how to now, and today a front nearside BOTTOM ball joint, luckilly the one fitted which had wear was a previous replacment, so it actually came away ok with a bit of releasing heat!

So, at 264,700k too her in, and im pleased to say we have a PASS! Advisories? Yes, P bush's on both sides have slight wear, and a tyre!

Thats it! So 37k done last year so IF we can do 37k again this year we WILL hit the 300k mark!

It seems after swapping the HDi 90 complete fuel system and tank pump it feels more like 45!!!

So I must be dooing something wrong, or theres something wrong somewhere!

I'd whip the injectors out as it could over fuelling or a fouled injector as something's not right getting that low compared to what you used to get!
