The karate went well this afternoon. my gi has only a few grass-stains on it and no blood!

We did it in the Italian Garden at Castle Ashby

It was humming because it had forgotten the words James

The only way to stop it humming is to go round a right-hander and then it's totally silent..

I forget which bearing that indicates is at fault now and my brain is too addled to work it out. Can someone remind me please? Thanks

One would presume it's a left hand bearing, but they're weird things and those humming noises travel in some weird ways.

It's maybe a humming bird and flying about from side to side

Jim just buy the pair and get them both done as the other will end up doing the same and go for OE so they last a fair while

you'll have to use my method of detecting which side bearing is noisy Jim, you know the one Sir Richard G likes ( NOT ),

were you jack one front wheel off the ground then spin it up in gear with the engine running

A most excellent road trip to Anglesey yesterday and fantastic to see you Paul

We went there and back in Chris's 2.5 Estate to collect and ES9 engine and HP20 gearbox. So easy with the estate. Engine and 'box fitted in without even having to drop the rear seats..

The 2.5 was an absolutely lovely ride and a great place to be in on a long trip..

It was a round trip of around 500 miles running on 100% veg all the way...

We also met Will (KP) in a motorway services for an exchange of spares..

Chris's 2.5 is badly in need of a new clutch and it needed a little care and nursing yesterday. We plan to do the clutch next week.. That'll be an experience I'm sure!

Something like that Richard as it's an engine out job and the 2.5 is quite heavily shoe-horned in. I reckon it's going to be a fun job...

You're not wrong about the clutch! I really did think on that 3 point turn on the hill that the clutch was about to let go!

517 miles covered and the trip tells me I have about 430 left. 2.5's aren't bad really.

Knowing what spares can be like and companies saying they have stock, i'd far rather wait until the clutch is in my hands.

25 hours! no no no, this is Team WFA who aren't scared of popping an ES9 out. It'll be done in 2 days, one out one in.
