The irony here is that I don't do google at all but that pretty much covers most of my travels in October too as together we visited Roger in Nottingham, Mike in Cambridge and then the South Coast Saunter !! So much for keeping my movements private!!

I find that it is sometimes deadly accurate, other it is completely away with the mixer.
I went to a shop a mile away yesterday and it was spot on, othertimes it invents where I have been. Placing me on roads I have never been on and missing out huge amounts of journeys and walks.

Steve, it's absolutely spot-on accurate for me...

And right now I've just rocked up at Stellantis in Hatfield to have Polly serviced.

I could easily do so myself but for warranty needs, I feel I must submit. It'll be the one and only time... Once out of warranty, I'll take over..

Jim....IF you can....EXTEND the warranty ....the "costs" of parts now is staggering !

Yes I'd do that too, manufacturers warranties are better than aftermarket ones too, as they cover more parts. I have only every done well out of warranties, I often wonder how they make any money

Polly's been serviced and all good except the rear pads are 60% worn and a potentially spurious issue with the Adblue system was observed. I'll post more on that in the Citroen forum in due course...

Meanwhile, it's a bloody good job I have Polly as I'm unlike to be able to drive a conventional small car for a while due to excruciating knee pain...

Some of you will be aware I've been unwell for a while and for a time, very unwell... I'm not recovering well and every time I try to resume normal life I relapse badly. Hence today I'm rubbish after yesterday. A shame as yesterday was an exceedingly good day spent in the company of Mick and with a great meal out where we met up with Ryan, the jester... Excellent in all respects.

Although I'm starting to recover from the acute symptoms - seems it was a virulent viral of some description and with a lot of Covid-like symptoms - I'm left with crushing fatigue, cognitive issues and pain, especially in my knees for some reason. I can currently hardly walk, let alone ride a bike or run. So getting in and out of a small car like Pix or Bluebell would be impossible. Polly, being more van-like is not such a problem. I can sort of climb into her without bending and slide out into a standing position.

I'm taking a break from everything until further notice to fully convalesce and recover. I'll still be on here regularly though, provided no demands are made upon me, this forum will be good for my recovery...

General consensus, along with a few related bollockings from people wiser than I, is I've been trying to do too much too soon... I have my orders...

I shall now devote my time to going stir crazy and if only my knees would allow it, a bit of wall climbing

Get well soon Jim, and all the other decrepit souls here. I'm also in the decrepit club, had bloods taken on Monday, and an appointment with a specialist on Friday to discuss. I wish I was like my 65 year old pet tortoise, he went to bed last month to sleep the cold dark months. That would suit me fine!
