What's the bets it sells for big money and ends up back on ebay in a week or two?

Just have to hope whoever buys it has seen it! Otherwise as above, back on ebay within the week!
Is there 4 grand of parts in it? I know they are rare cars but is it worth it as a spares car??

Thread renamed by popular demand, i never thought it would go for that much, even by the pictures/vague description you could tell that it was going to need a good bit of money to bring it up to standard even before fixing it, went for way over the odds

Whoever buys it will probably have no trouble convincing Ebay that it was not as described, when the buyer refuses to pay

I actually reported the seller to eBay as the car wasn't as described after hearing what Richard found and what the seller told my friend on the phone.

As per usual though they've taken no bloody notice.

That's about 3 times more then I was prepared to pay for it.

I think someone is going to be a little bit miffed when they go to collect that car. In saying that, if it's off to western Europe like other posts suggested I doubt they'll care much and I doubt we'll ever see sight nor sound of it again.

Hey ho.... in hindsight am glad it went for more then I was prepared to pay for it as I really don't have time to take on another project at the moment.
