Had a great day out at The Nene Valley Railway yesterday. Unfortunately due to the recent dry weather they have suspended running steam locos at the moment having already sparked one bush fire alongside the track. So our day was spent in 1950's BR MK1 carriages hauled up and down the line by a beautifully maintained Class 45 Diesel Loco. The pictures are the result of various clicking and instead of detailed info on each one I'll post them up and happily answer any queries as well as I can!

I can remember a few of the alternative alphabet mnemonics. If they don't make sense say them out load;

A is for Horses
B is for Honey
C for Miles
E for Brick
F for Vesance
L for Leather
R for Mo
T for Two
V for Espania

Maybe others can fill in the numerous gaps?
