A bit of my old kitchen lives on in my garage

The old kitchen has been a bit further demolished and all the initial electrical work is now complete in my house...

Old kitchens are great for the garage upgrades (though old office furniture and filing cabinets are pretty good too - Facebook marketplace, though stuff doesn't hang about long unless well overpriced!

Much progress...

The old kitchen is almost no more now... Not long after this photo was taken, all the tiles were off...

I will soon be taking up residence in my temporary kitchen in the conservatory. It's now prepared...

The bad news is I'm now unable to bake any flapjacks until my new kitchen is in and functional...

And one more wall unit has taken up residence in my garage...

I've made my stop-cock serviceable again. I'll need it to do the plumbing...

Years ago the handle fell off and disappeared under the floor of a unit... It was incredibly hard to turn..

I found the handle and nut yesterday and after lots of attention with Plus Gas, easing back and forth along with cleaning up and greasing the shaft, I now have a smooth, easily manipulated cock

The 'puddle' underneath it is not water, it's a Plus Gas stain...

Onwards and upwards

Still lots to do...
