My first ever motorized transport, I bought it as a non-runner from a newly widowed lady about 1/2 mile from my house. It had been her husband's daily commuter but hadn't turned a wheel for 9 months up until she decided it was time to sell it. I parted with £4.00 and pushed it all the way home to investigate. Once in the back yard I bent down to have a better look and saw the plug cap hanging loose. I clipped it back on and kicked it over, it started second kick and became my regular transport for the next few months, never missing a beat. Eventually I got teenager's speed need and upgraded to a Triumph Terrier 150cc for the power!!! all 13hp or so iirc. I cleaned up the C50 and sold it for £12 which I was pretty pleased with and it set me on the road I still inhabit!!NewcastleFalcon wrote: 24 Jul 2022, 12:00 Go on admit it, if you wandered past one of these with a photographic device on your person, you would do the same as me...I did walk past several Kawasaki 900's without clicking the shutter...

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Took daughter's C3 for a puncture repair. They have this guarding the property.
Filled it up at Sainsburys and this ugly thing turned up.
He seemed to be having trouble paying
Seems to me that both Bentley and Rolls Royce only make ugly cars since the Germans took them over.

Not the greatest of starts for project washing line, but in reality could have saved on the final rinse as well as Mother Nature sends a downpour. Still its all my stuff out there, and the rain is an excellent fabric conditioner. Bit of sun later on and they will appropriately be right as rain.NewcastleFalcon wrote: 22 Jul 2022, 08:12 POTD Energy Saving Club

You got a photo of the better-looking end! And that's not saying much
Hideous styling for something that cost as much as a house, but I suppose Bentley know their target demographic well...

Hope it lets up for long enough for me to water the garden.
Agreed, as it arrived I thought it was the ugliest thing that I have seen. Seen them on photo's but they are far worse 'in person'.Ross_K wrote: 25 Jul 2022, 14:22You got a photo of the better-looking end! And that's not saying much![]()

Wasn't prepared to make a spectacle of myself taking pictures of the front, there was a van waiting for me to shift and the woman who got out to help what I presume was her husband didn't look as though she appreciated being photographed.

A decent enough drying day but with showers in the forecast and in my observations of the sky, need to gather them in pronto should the need arise.

Same here. I have my son's washing hung out now. Brought it here yesterday to use my tumble dryer (broken) as he has nowhere to dry stuff inside.

Headed to the local nature reserve to play footy with my boy on his birthday. It's surprising how a nature reserve can have so much man made things hidden. that's the burn marks from the concrete tunnel that keeps the stream flowing.

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Fresh out the camera, not very good light for a picture, quite a dull image, but at that time that's what it was like as
of July 27th 2022 in a Northumberland field. Might faff about with it for my own amusement.
If anyone else wants fo faff about with it too feel free.... this is a decent online tool with no downloading of apps/ software required just upload an image and choose an effect.
