So much enjoyment and so much dissapointment in one picture, at the same time. This must be the first time I have seen this Alpina wheels in real life. If you don't have a 2nd look you might not understand what is so special about them.
So it goes like this:
1. Great rims.
2. Mid end tires.
3. About 110% consumed tires :)

Still, nice rims!

It looks like Reading may be a breeding ground for double rainbows! This was taken only a few minutes ago.

An unashamed plug for the County of the Day thread here where you will find many more beautiful images from the same source. In need of more contributers especially from the local area, today it's Fife!! :-D

Nothing today although there were lots of nice flowers out, more than I had expected.
Carting two heavy bags of shopping through the park from the next village made it awkward.

As I am out all day I thought I'd just test my new to me camera, an Olympus VR 350 with 10x optical zoom and 4x digital,16megPixels and only cost me £20. Bargain camera corner!! So here are the pics I took in the garden just now:

I remember my younger brother having a problem saying "Nasturtiums"; he called them "Nasty Urchins!".

I like to put my original images taken on the first day of the month on the first day thread.

Heres a couple of spares for POTD

Rhodedendrons tend to be in a base shade of purple, which seem to be the bog standard bloom. Some darker/some lighter but basically purple. This garden had the usual purple at the back, but at the front a proliferation of variations. Now i suspect these are what are known as Azeleas.
Rhododendrons/Azaleas..same thing?

A truly scintillating click of the shutter this morning, but nevertheless it is my picture of the day!

I remember hearing a story where a PC user had a problem with a floppy disk. The support desk asked the user to send them a copy. The user photocopied the disk and sent them the photocopy. What was amusing is that the support desk was able to work out what the problem was from the photocopy, and resolved it!
