The Cobb at Lyme Regis, and maybe the snow was to do with the filming of a scene in the French Lieutenant's Woman.

Looks like its pretty recent filming, and the film is going to be called Wonka due for release in 2023, and being made by Warner Bros. Studios, Leavesden, Hertfordshire, England, UK

https://www.imdb.com/title/tt6166392/lo ... =tt_dt_loc

locations to include Watford and Lyme Regis!

Some old favourites appeared. The debris from a long gone demolition of a few rows of terraced houses with nature taken over much of the site which is a yet to be developed lot an industrial estate. Remarkable where the bricks originate from and the variety. Mostly local but some from further afield. Very few intact specimens available.
So in this little crop we have bricks from two locals
Newburn- North side of the Tyne just along from Blaydon
Lumley- Co Durham...near Chester-le-Street
and two "out of areas"
London Brick Company Phorpres.
PHORPRES refers to the fact the bricks are pressed four times in their production, and the number stamped on the brick (9) refers to the works the bricks came from.
Glenboig A

The truck is a Bedford according to Lyme Online and it looks to be an OB style of cab.

I spent some time today having a general read across the FCF and catching up on a number of threads. I was surprised to see the trouble some people are having with their cars and phones, in various threads so I thought a simple reminder of what they are all missing was called for: :-D
