One day the rear wipe works another it won't ....
Roll on better weather for a proper investigation. I've noticed if the tailgate is shut hard the rear wiper will work.

Update :
I've removed the motor today and noticed the white plastic part the power cable plugs into has movement so I've wrapped it with black electrical tape powered the motor up and its working and has been since.
Also taped around the wiper spindle to tighten the spindle as it slides back in and that stops any possible water getting in.
I also noticed too the wires that connected to the rear demister was at one point earthing , that is also cured with The same black tape , all good now.

Heat shield over exhaust has been damaged due to the storms and floods so I've that to sort but after falling down the stairs yesterday morn thanks hip that can wait

Started the timing belt job today it is tight the angle of the wing is a bit of a pain aswell

Doing timing belt today I got as far as its ready for the pulley to be lined up and locked then the tensioner to be slackened off for belt to come off and so on
I need the torque settings for pulley, water pump bolts and so on , any one have the numbers , thanks in advance .

Crankshaft bolt 196lbnm +. 50° tighten then.
Idler 18lbnm
Tensioner 10-18lb nm

The picasso will be going to a recycling facility in a few days
The front suspension has failed big time the whole gearbox plus engine weight is pushing down on the front of the poor car its no longer safe to drive the works to put the car back on the road were out weighed by just getting another old runner so thats what i did, The scrap value was pretty good so ive only lost £49 on what i brought it for.
It was a lovely car never let me down i will post a short tribute to the car soon with photos.
