I'd imagine that to be the case. I'll be there in the C4 as long as it doesn't break down first.Stickyfinger wrote:
I take it we will get there early, will all be bringing our Citroen's and will try to do something special to see him off in a way he would expect us to.

I shall be going over in the G. Some parts of the G came from Malcolm, spent many hours on the phone to the 'G Spot Technical Helpline' (as he calls it!) AKA Malcolm couldn't have got it on the road without his assistance.

Re: RIP Citronut
The whole thing has been such a shock. From being on the forum and what seemed like normal, to all this a few weeks later.
Thoughts are with family in a time of such a shocking and sad loss.
It is going to be strange without him and his humour on the forum. Also his downright knowledge of the practical aspects of doing the job.

Re: RIP Citronut
This is the first time I've been on the forum for amonth as I've been away for a couple of weeks. It was a deep shock to see the notice of Malcolm's untimely demise, as last time I posted on here he was as usual giving help and advice to all and sundry. I did not know him personally, only as a valued contributor on the forum. I'm sure the loss to the forum is only a fraction of the loss to his family.

Re: RIP Citronut
Very sad news and my thoughts are with Malcolms family.
This forum wont be the same without him, he was a very active and very helpful member who gave a lot to other Citroen owners.
I would usually catch up with Malcolm at the various Citroen events, though I think the last time I saw him we were at Le Mans last year for EuroCitro last summer.
A great chap, you'll be missed!

Haven't been on the forums for awhile and was genuinely shocked to learn of Malcolm's demise, I didn't know him personally but the few posts I have made he contributed to, a sad loss to the community. RIP.

Re: RIP Citronut
Geez ... having never met Malcolm i assumed, how wrongly, that he was a more mature chap. But only 63yrs of age was far too young to leave us. How sad., I feel your loss Claire my father having passed away at only 61. Seems a long time ago now but memories always remain. Remember those ...

Re: RIP Citronut
I don't visit this forum as often as I should, so I've just noticed this news.
Hadn't met him personally, but I've spent countless hours reading this forum over the years and his postings in particular. Always very informative, I've learnt heaps from Malcolm's posts. I know we never say this until it's too late, but his efforts have been very much appreciated. I wish his family well.

I'm really shocked & saddened to read of your demise, Malc. Will miss your acerbic wit and your dry humour . Rest easy, old friend.

Re: RIP Citronut
Very sad to learn that Malcom's moved onward and upward. Our paths never crossed, but I really enjoyed his wit and humour on the Forum. Never understood whether he was really dislexic, or whether it was just part of his wit and humour.
Sorry you've left us Malcom - Rest in Peace
