Re: Picture(s) of the day....
I have just noticed we haven't had a picture of the day today so I popped outside to snap the last of our sunset beyond the storm clouds!!:
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

I like that one Mick, nice bit of photography. My shutter clicking has been a bit curtailed by the going kaput of the Camera.mickthemaverick wrote: 25 May 2021, 22:24 I have just noticed we haven't had a picture of the day today so I popped outside to snap the last of our sunset beyond the storm clouds!!:

That one was with my phone as my camera lives upstairs in the wardrobe these days!! I liked the light reflection on the wet road drawing the eye to the red sky which doesn't show up too well I'm afraid!!

Trip to Yorkshire, fuel consumption. That includes two trips up Sutton Bank!

I wasn't trying all that hard Mick, I went over 70 mph several times
They are a fantastic engine, I didn't get that from my 406's and they were lighter. If you thrash them the consumption drops really quickly though.

We did a bit of a diversion to Stanton Le Dale while in Yorkshire, met up with someone many will recognize. One of the nicest, kindest, most genuine people I have come across, very unusual in this day and age. These are a couple of my favourite cars in his collection.

Unfortunately Bob and I did not have enough time to wait to meet Derek during the September Stroll but I have exchanged emails with him on a few occasions and I agree with your assessment 100% Peter. An exceedingly genuine chap and one who I hope to buy a drink one day!!

Re: Picture(s) of the day....
Went for a wander round earlier and on my way home spotted this:
It is five hundred yards from my house and I can't recall ever seeing it before, although it is on the way to the school, shops and my son's house. Must have passed it hundreds of times.
I thought they were all gone by now.

No. You have to be a fan of a certain TV program to identify it.
