Oddly, I suffer fumes more when running that I do cycling... The M1 overbridge near me when running is absolutely awful. I can't wait for the day when all vehicles are electric and old dinosaur ICE engines are banished...

I never thought I'd ever say that!!! Cars running cold before the cats have got going are hideously stinky to me and make me really ill... Nearly as ill as running past a person puffing on a fag or operating a vaping thing

slightly late to the party with this one.... have had a similar situation. Would suggest if you're concerned about the lack of servicing to the Boiler Zel to simply ensure you have an operational Carbon Monoxide monitor

Installed these in close proximity to the gas burning devices day three I think after we moved in.

Excuse the mess - the utility room is perpetually a tip.

Will need to replace them next year - which is in my calendar so I can't forget.

If they're anything like my insane Aunty's, they won't let you forget. The batteries chose to go below acceptable level at 3am so they started making a piercing shriek.

Missed my daily FCF fix yesterday as was driving down to Devon after work & by the time I arrived I was just too tired to set-up the laptop - not like me at all - so even later to the party. On the other hand, as a new boy, only right that everyone else should get in first.

Jim, noticed you'd been quiet for far too long (bit like the bell in in Eric Burdon's "Black Death" - obscure musical reference anyone?) but not enough to worry. Now, really sorry to learn reason for your absence BUT,as for making it permanent, while understanding your reasoning, couldn't put it any better, or more forcibly, than Michel's response yesterday. Of course you must stay on board, that this forum wouldn't be the same redefines "understatement".
