The PI was a pain once a little worn, I converted several to twin SUs.

One of the nicest cars in the Ford range at the time but hell didn't they rust, I wouldn't mind betting it's had new panels all round.mickthemaverick wrote: 22 Aug 2024, 13:27 A late entry for the gold theme from the saleroom

Re: Favourite colours for cars
This is not one of them...unless you go back to the very first Tesla roadsters which offered 2 shades of Yellow calledTesla Colours: The Ultimate Guide
https://www.findmyelectric.com/tesla-co ... l-s-3-x-y/
"Yellow", and "Brilliant Yellow Metallic".
I think this one...the car was originally white...will be a "wrap" rather than a respray, and the now fashionable black badging and accents which carries over to offerings from Audi/Mercedes and perhaps others, on the yellow is a good match.

Re: Favourite colours for cars
Wonder if the trained eye can spot the difference between a good wrap and a respray. Some of the obvious luminous green metallic BMW's etc I presume to be "wraps" just by colour alone. That yellow Tesla just looked like a normal finish you would expect on a modern newish car, but the first one I have seen in yellow.

I would say the trained eye can spot the difference Neil, but the concept will still probably defeat the untrained eye which I would think means the mass market?
