Having taken up Neil's suggestion to have a look through the Glenmarch list of 1971 cars, the first thing I noticed was the number of times the same car appears at different sales! However the reason for the search was to pick out a 1971 car that will prove interesting to our gathering so from among a huge range I have picked this:

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Couple of excellent contributions there Mick.

The Falcon eye for a picture, on a little trip out, spotted a couple of photo opportunities for the thread and the shutter has been clicked.

If you can extract any interest out of this page which lists across the UK the Citroen Dealers in 1971 please do...it will enlarge into a readable state with a couple of clicks on the magnifier

The car I was most interested in was the Range Rover. One of a kind at the time. The one on stand 98 was in Davos white with Palomino trim! This is probably fairly close to the one on the stand right colour right age right interior.

Here's an FCF spooky!! Simply for something to do I picked up Neil's directory page and read through to see if I had visited any of the dealers. Hertfordshire only had four on the list, none of which I'd been to so I went for the random pin on a string selection method and it picked the dealer in Wokingham as you can see outlined here:

So having selected that I thought I'd look for a picture of the garage so I typed it into DDG and selected images. Here is what I got:

I find it quite spooky that by sheer chance the search has brought up a citroen picture which has no obvious connection with my question!! 8-[ :-D
