Sometimes it’s better the Devil you know, and now the injectors are or will be new, maybe that’s better than risking another van you don’t know the history of?

You sound like my late dad Marc :-D , I can hear him saying that in my ear now. Lol
You are correct though, but I have to get a new driveshaft boot done, and it still has this knock on front suspension which I can’t find. I have had it jacked up and checked for play in ball joint and bearing ,as well as the a r b bush and drop link, but can’t find anything amiss.

After I get the new injectors fitted, would it be wise to change the engine oil, filter and fuel filter? I read a thread on the Berlingo forum about this ,and someone had the same experience as I am having, and suggested to the o p to do this??

It could not hurt to give her a servicing.

Always good advice  8-)

But, if the injectors have been over-fueling then there's a possibility of fuel contamination in the oil; so changing it would be a good idea.

Thanks for the replies all, will do that once injectors are replaced. Only done 4000 since last service, at purchase, but will do it anyway, for the sake of 30 odd quid.
