Re: Xantia rear suspension
I got the accumulator and the rear center sphere pressure checked and the accumulator is completely flat and the rear one is 10 bar less from 50. I guess the accumulator needs to be replaced. Is the rear center one usable at 40 bar.

My front suspension spheres are part no. 96199318 volume 450cm3 50bar, Front accumulator 95437354 volume 400cm3 62bar, Rear anti sink sphere 96198613 volume 400cm3 50bar. Are these OK for non active car.

Re: Xantia rear suspension
Hi everyone. Problem sorted. Replaced the Accumulator and fixed a pressure pipe LHM leek of the power steering rack. Now the stop light comes on only in the first start for the day. Rest of the day it doesn't come on at all. Even when started after 4-5 hours. Regulator ticks is over 1 minute.I hope this is fine.

Re: Xantia rear suspension
Sounds good to me. Well done in fixing the problems. I would suggest you consider replacing the rear 'anti sink' sphere (unless you have recently done so), as this serves the same task as the accumulator sphere, but for the back of the car. However, unlike the accumulator sphere, there is no way of knowing how good it is. With the accumulator sphere you can have a rough guide by how often the regulator clicks; anything over 30 seconds between clicks means that the sphere is good. Most people in the know replace both spheres at the same time.

Thanks James. Certainly yes. I have already ordered the rear anti sink sphere as well.

I should have said "However, unlike the accumulator sphere, there is no way of knowing how good it is WITHOUT TAKING IT OFF THE CAR AND PRESSURE TESTING IT".Chetiya Dias wrote:Hell Razor5543 wrote:Sounds good to me. Re: Xantia rear suspension
I got it James. As I mentioned in my earlier post, I got all spheres pressure checked and the accumulator was completely flat and the rear anti sink was only 40bar. So guess better replace it too. Thanks James.Hell Razor5543 wrote:I should have said "However, unlike the accumulator sphere, there is now way of knowing how good it is WITHOUT TAKING IT OFF THE CAR AND PRESSURE TESTING IT".Chetiya Dias wrote:Hell Razor5543 wrote:Sounds good to me.
