was talking to a mechanic and he was saying that there is going to be a huge issue with sticking a hdi in the mk1 xantia as the immobilisers are different and i'll need to pull a lot of wiring over to the activa.
anyone has any experience with these? can I use the keypad immobiliser on the hdi? or will i have to pull all the wiring from the donor car over? also will a pug hdi engine do instead of an xantia one? i mean is the suspension control unit separate to the ecu?

all systems go!!!
got a 110hp hdi xantia ... finally
now looking for someone who can do the transplant
I pondered long and hard about the implant (just to screw the irish vrt man outta cash) but it proved too hard to find an exclusive hdi.
looking forward to this!!! i'll get it remapped once the transplant is done and will have 150hp (ish)!!!
