I'm suprised no one has commented on the annoying fact that although the 2cv in the advert is driving along a beach road in the advert, the reflection in hub cap is of cars driving towards AND away from sed hubcap the entire time!!!!

Either thats annoying, or I need to see a doctor!

Half of me thinks they are con merchants but the other half thinks if your daft enough to sell your car to them then its tough, no one forces you to sell.
They are ery pushy though and economic with the truth too it would seem.

As a gauge of this company last week I received one of those annoying/spam texts from them offering to buy my BMW (I'd sold it anyway) but to end further texts I needed to send a "stop" message back to them. I think I'd sooner stick pins in my eyes than deal with these scumbags.

Curious, because that's how I deal with similar spamming here. The idea that you have to spend your own money to tell them where to go, is a bit rank.

Ah no, Addo, you forget we residents of the UK are mug enough to let companies and government organisations mug us, without batting an eyelid.

Bank charges, fuel duty, income tax, road tax, overpriced goods........... the list is endless and what is even worse, we even elect the people to support those that shaft us.

No, I'm not a cynic.

Punch-drunk, I think is the word you're looking for.

It's amazing how relevant Thomas Hardy's Tess remains today... In truth our incumbents probably look to yours for examples of how to put the boot into people.

I took myself off the organ donor list recently in protest, figuring the majority of people here had been stupid enough to elect the incumbents and therefore didn't deserve any bits of me - should I suddenly cease to need them.
