Indeed it was Jim. I'll be sure to get some pictures though, not only of the museum and its exhibits but also of the 50 odd Coupes turning up.

Stratford is the 11th/12th? I will need to check to make sure I'm not working but if not then yes.

Well i got back in good time last night, arrived here about 11.00pm after the 4 hour drive back. I did 520 miles in the Xm, which seems to have done around 48MPG. Its the longest drive ive done in that Xm and it performed brilliantly and seems to be going all the better after the run.

I had a really good day yesterday, there was a very nice selection of Xms, most popular seemed to be TCTs. Surprisingly i think manuals out numbered the autos!

It was nice to remeet people who i had met at previous events and new people, its always good to put names to faces. I appologise if anyone got lectured about suspension from my dad

I did enjoy the convoy drive, even if we did get a bit lost  Seeing all the Xms on the road was a real sight 8-)

I really want to be there today but ive got to work. I hope to be at Stratford, but ive left it a bit late to get the day off. Might see you on the Saturday. :)

I hope there are going to be lots of pictures posted up of today, especially of the interesting Xm which was talked about yesterday ...

Was that everyone got lost? Oh dear I believe they were using the route I devised for the DSM rally  or was Andrew at the front of the convoy (he has previous for not following my directions on convoys  )

A great event somewhat inconveniently wet today, but sorry I had to dash off. Thanks to everyone who made it such a memorable event. Roll on next year's CXM!

Two XMs reunited, the pearlescent maroon one is Nigel's… it's the one I brought back from the Alps. This car features heavily in the following. Boy, was it shiny!

An absolutely brilliant weekend – I’m looking forward to next year already.

What a convoy run too...I bet nobody's been on a convoy where the cars at the back meet the cars at the front!!! It was all planned, you know...!

I think that the Fiamma F45 awning worked a treat...pickled egg anyone?

Anyway...pictures.

And yes, that is the Mouse Mobile - hat's off to Dom! 8)

It's a lovely car, and it's lovely to see another out there. What makes me like it even more is that it's been Maikonics'd! 8)

Another awesome car, E993 KAD. 8)

Well done to Dom (Mouse-mobile), Paul (S1 Prestige) and Dean (modified-XM) for winning the prizes of the show.

'Twas also good to meet old and new friends and have a good laugh!

Yes, well im not sure quite how that happened, but the last half of the cars managed to loose the front half. We cought up with them eventually, leaving 4 Xms, a Xant and a CX doing 3 point turns on a country road to go and follow the rest. It was all good fun and there were some opportunities to put the Xms through their paces slightly.

I had my second drive in a C6, it was just as nice as i remembered, i could probably live with one

Looks like a good turn out today, some great looking Xms there and CXs too. I was dissapointed i couldnt make today, but at least i got there yesterday.

Ill put up some of my pictures later.

Brill turnout today. I'll upload a photo of all the Citroens parked in a field entrance, all of which later star in the 3 point turn dance
Rob's trailing arm tech session was both very informative along with a large slice of his comic wit.
Your Dad is brilliant Chris!
And to finish off, why I am so late back. I made a detour to view another car with the intention of having a fleet of two. This may mean that I might not be at Stratford in RUNN (The Xantia, christened by Xac) but something else if all goes to plan...

Was great to meet new faces :)
Huge thanks to Paul for letting me drive Kevin (we'll have to come up with a new name once the belt's been fixed!) which was awesome and made me giggle like a school girl

Have fun at Stratford, I'm not going to make it as we've still not had time to unpack everything into the new house!
