Took a load of pictures on day 2 but they have almost all gone horribly wrong, lots were very blue (camera had somehow selected the wrong white balance and a lot have disappeared completely.

After I took this:

I also took many more including some detail shots and one of the sign in the window with some history - 1 private owner from new, just well looked after and completely unrestored.

Magnificent example!

They are in better condition than mine too - what has it done, about five miles a year?
Wish I had those missing shots, magnificent example.

Hi Steve,

Are they on an SD card? You can download free recovery program - might be worth a go?

And I'm sure I don't need to tell you that digital pictures can be edited ie remove any blue hue.

I have been editing to correct the colour balance but it takes ages.

Checked carefully for the missing files but no sigh of them. No chance now as I reformatted it. I did think it may have dumped them on the second card and for a moment it looked as though it had - but it was a similar CX at last year's CX/M show :(
Never mind, there will be other rallys to get more pics from.

They didnt look like original tyres to me, original type yes but not original to the car from new. I didnt actually look in to see the mileage, but unless it has under 5K miles there is no way they could be the same ones it had from new, they looked brand new, as did the rest of the car.

Perishing would probably have set in long before now too.

We are sharing the event with another car club i think? Though cant remember what the other cars are now?

I was slightly dissapointed when i went to the motor museum last time, they seemed to have thinned out their exhibits quite a bit. Although when i was driving out i saw a lot of them in a compound outside! Seemed a little odd as there were some very rare cars stood out in the elements. Seamless mini, first and end of line cars, all tucked away. Probably just re ordering things maybe.

Ill be there both days. :)
