Re: I have become an Activa owner...Project Stictiva-V6
To be honest mate I do not need the flap now, there is one in the new donor.....thanks muchly anyway Buddy.
Donor will be a donor, as simple as that....its a matching car age wise and LHD as well....so ALL parts fit.
What I will do with the red 2ltr TCT one I do not know yet....more than likely it will be slowly stripped unless I get an offer for it (very doubtful) or find a really cheep Estate Car to convert into a V6 Activa Tourer

Activa V6 estate looks the easier of the two but I doubt I will start either project

Re: I have become an Activa owner...Project Stictiva-V6
It's actually quite difficult due to the special nature of the Activa rear subframe and the fact the estate subframe is a bit different...Skull wrote:Activa V6 estate looks the easier of the two
It has been done though... I believe as a prototype by Citroen/Heiulitz...

You say you may have a red Activa tct needing to be re-homed. Let us all have a chance to re home it before you strip it.

Re: I have become an Activa owner...Project Stictiva-V6
I will.
This was one of the reasons I purchased the V6Activa the other day.
I can strip the LHD v.6 of both more parts (being a matching model) and at the same time save doing that for a very limited number from the 2ltr
I need to fully asses the damaged area first.
I stripped out the interior fully of seats, carpets etc (all damaged or would be replaced), it looks a relativity easy welding job I am told (by a rather good welder).
If I decide it is to go I will supply the body parts so whoever takes it can fix it up.
Sadly, these plans rarely work out for any Xantia Activa that is tatty.

Re: I have become an Activa owner...Project Stictiva-V6
Think it was a bit neglected to have that horrible hole. As much as it pains to bin an activa theres bound to be straighter shells. The other alternative is finding a decent exclusive and sticking the activa stuff on!

Great to see you this afternoon Alasdair and to meet and have a good look at Lat-Tiva
Chuffed to bits we succeeded in fixing her ECU/Keypad issue... Still smiling about that now!
