They dont stay still long enough! So I went for the video, granted quite out of focus! That was in one of the strongholds of the Red but even there the greys have arrived and are a common site now.

You are supposed to do it a 2.00am so if you set your alarm - what time does it go off?

If you mean set it to adjust the clock and are quick enough Peter it will start at 2am and finish at 1am ! :-D

If you set it for seven it will go off at 6 if you don't change it!! :-D

The mushroom looks like a Shaggy Inkcap, and the tree looks like a cedar - Cedrus atlantica Glauca ? Maybe Cedrus libani ?

Thanks Bobins looks right to me, but just because of the poem Cargoes which I think is a superb bit of writing I'm going to assume my cedar is Cedrus Libani :-D
'Cargoes'

Quinquireme of Nineveh from distant Ophir,
Rowing home to haven in sunny Palestine,
With a cargo of ivory,
And apes and peacocks,
Sandalwood, cedarwood, and sweet white wine.

Stately Spanish galleon coming from the Isthmus,
Dipping through the Tropics by the palm-green shores,
With a cargo of diamonds,
Emeralds, amethysts,
Topazes, and cinnamon, and gold moidores.

Dirty British coaster with a salt-caked smoke stack,
Butting through the Channel in the mad March days,
With a cargo of Tyne coal,
Road-rails, pig-lead,
Firewood, iron-ware, and cheap tin trays.

I remember them. The Cyclemaster had the engine in the rear wheel. In Holland I saw some bikes with the engine driving the front wheel friction style, don't remember seeing them here though. Remember the 'Corgi' a little motorbike you rode with your knees under you chin? I think they were designed to be dropped from aircraft.

My poetry pain was when I was 8 years old, our teacher allocated us all a poem to learn then recite to the class next door, I got Hiawatha :(
