I have Diagbox installed with Win10 64bit on a Lenovo laptop. Works perfect. It was Win8 on the computer when I bought it, and then it is upgraded to Win10. Diagbox was installed from Win8.
I saw the note about not installing Win10, but I took a chance.

I gave up with mine, dug out an old laptop and installed it on Vista, it will work ok on that but if I add the updates later than 7.57 it reverts to trying to online update and won't get past that page. 7.57 is ok for my C5 so I won't be trying any more.

Vborovic, is your interface marked 9780.Z5? There seems to be an issue with firmware and possibly a lot else? My 7.02 using the above will not read our 2013 C4 picasso. worked fine on our previous 2010 DS3.
Recently saw this site - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAL-Full-Chi ... 1986903916 - and wondered if anyone has a view or experience of it? Don't know if the A1281 Z is the hardware interface... The marketing looks good, but then doesn't it all  . I did come across a topic here with an Ebay contact to 'phone, but haven't been able to find it this morning #-o .

Yes, I have the 9780.Z5, but it has the FW revision C ... many of such devices are still on rev B (can't say that this is what makes the difference) ... I do need to point out that I haven't telecoded anything with the latest firmware (yet), but I was browsing the menus of different ECUs on my X7 without a problem ... I don't think actually telecoding would be an issue for me, since I can get to one step before actually applying the changes ...

Mine is 9780Z5, I haven't opened it to see what's actually inside, I bought it through this forum quite a long time ago.

I just bought the A 1280Z from Easydiagnostics a month ago link here:
http://www.easydiagnostics.co.uk/shop/4 ... t/10015520
This is the latest revision and from UK supplier. Has all the hardware, works with C5 X7 and all files supplied on a USB flash drive ready to install. Sharon will answer any questions you have prior to purchase and for £92 you can't go wrong for peace of mind.

No Jack Windows XP through to Windows 8 32bit Operating Systems. Won't work on any 64Bit operating systems or Windows 10 any version. If this is an issue Jack, you may want to consider a cheapish second had laptop with Windows 7 which can be had for about £70 up which you could install onto. Depends on how much you need or will use it to justify extra spend, but once you have it you won't need to buy anything else and it will work with cars up to 2015 so far. This is likely to be the last releases of Diagbox as they are going over to an Internet version shortly.
This interface is the latest 2015 one with all the latest firmware and hard ware so you should have everything you need.

@ Vborovic Just been reinstalling Win 7 on the Lexia Laptop and Diagbox (wasn't happy with the constant activation messages) and had the Diagbox up to V7.65. Been doing a LOT of reading on whether to attempt a further update or not.
So far I have ascertained that:
Version 7.62 is recognised as 'stable'
Versions 7.63, 7.64 & 7.65 have telecoding issues
Version 7.66 seems OK, but has a few (non-disclosed) minor issues
All the later versions are too new to determine if there are any issues yet and I know there are some language change issues with version 7.76-7.77 but there are a few tweaks that can be applied to fix that.
I used the Scary updates to 7.57 and then Maitresox's updates from there to 7.66 (one update at a time in sequence). I'm going to leave it here for a while after just completing some X7 telecoding of parameters, so I know that works. Just keep getting the odd message to identify myself to 'use this function' or 'access the diagnostic information' then and again, but it hasn't stopped me changing the parameters. Keep us posted if you do find any issues with 7.76 please! :-D

Just about to order when I notice a HK seller is offering version 7.82! Anyone have experience of or comment on this? Agree UK supplier is preferable for many reasons and am told that 7.57 is as far as I need to go for vehicles up to 2015!!! :? :?
